Syed Rafiul Hussain, an Assistant Professor in the CSE department at Penn State University, is looking for 1-2 PhD students interested in software and systems security to join his research lab in Fall 2023 or Spring 2024.
The students will primarily design and implement novel fuzzing and/or firmware analysis techniques. Experience in program analysis, reverse engineering, or vulnerability discovery is plus but not mandatory.

Note that GRE is not required for PhD applicants and Penn State CSE department is still admitting PhD students with full financial support for Fall 2023.
